Having never lived in New York, moving to the city for the Summer Program was a bit of a whirlwind. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in a new city, a new job, a new environment. Everything in New York is so fast paced but it’s still important to take a step back and ground yourself during this once-in-a-lifetime experience. This is why the summer community service day has been one of my favorite experiences in the Summer Program.
